Hospitality Summit, Mérida:
connecting through the art of hosting
This year, we returned to the Mexican Hospitality Summit 2026, in Mérida, to meet with those who share the same vision about the experience of hosting.
The art of hosting
For two days, Mérida became a meeting point for hundreds of people from the hospitality world, hoteliers, operators, designers, architects, and experience creators gathered around the same question: how to improve hospitality?
Amid conversations about design, wellness, technology, and the future of lodging, one idea kept coming back: true luxury is not in the obvious, but in the details that are almost imperceptible, yet felt.

Care lives in the details
This idea is familiar to us. At Laguna Cyprien, we believe that hospitality begins long before the word "welcome": it is in the aroma that greets the visitor, in the texture of a soap on the sink, in the silent gesture of a space designed for rest.
Creating these simple, purposeful objects is our way of participating in the ritual of hosting.
“Hospitality is not a destination, but a practice: a form of care.”

A city that knows how to host
It is no coincidence that everything happened in Yucatán. Few places in Mexico understand the art of hosting like Mérida: its warmth, its inherited hospitality, its way of making time flow differently.
Keep growing
We leave Mérida with new conversations, ideas to explore, and the certainty that we still have a long way to go. For us, hospitality is a practice that we seek to refine every day, in every aroma and every object that reaches a welcoming space.
Thank you for having us. See you at the next one.
