Rituals · Founders · Laguna Cyprien

Meet the products that accompanied María, our founder, during her pregnancy and in the first months of motherhood.

Everything stems from a pause

There are stages in life when your body is no longer entirely your own. You lend it. And in that lending, the only way to continue inhabiting it is through small acts of presence.

Before Laguna Cyprien existed as a brand, it already existed as a philosophy: that the best rituals are those that do not compete with time, but rather transform it.

"There were days when the only thing I could control was that moment before going out — the gesture of putting on sunscreen, of reminding myself too."

The three rituals that accompanied her

First

Mineral Sunscreen

SPF 50+ · Morning Ritual

Formulated with nopal, aloe vera, and coconut oil. Creamy, with a light almond scent. During pregnancy, choosing natural ingredients goes from being a preference to becoming essential.

But beyond functionality, it was the gesture that mattered: like the last act of self-care before surrendering to the day.

Second

Moisturizing Oil

Fragrance-free · Night Ritual

Pregnancy transforms the skin in ways no one fully explains. It asks to be inhabited with more care.

María began applying the fragrance-free oil as part of her evenings — not as an obligation, but as a moment to acknowledge her body in its new form.

Formulated with sweet almond, argan, jojoba, grapeseed, and calendula vegetable oils. All natural, all biodegradable.

Third

The Robe

100% cotton · In collaboration with ⅛ Takamura

Made from 100% cotton, in collaboration with the Mexican creative studio ⅛ Takamura. Its generous cut accompanied every stage of the body without restrictions.

She wore it in the mornings, on oil nights, and in the in-between moments when time was just for her.

On what remains

Laguna Cyprien was born from this understanding: that well-being is not a destination. It is a practice sustained in the small, the everyday, the real.

To care for yourself while caring for others.
