Small pleasures, a Sunday ritual

There is a day in which all possibilities fit. Sometimes, long, uninterrupted rest that allows us to spend the hours slowly, between stillness, calm and presence; sometimes, a day that stretches out between so many activities, to do, undo and redo, to reset the routine and replenish our energy. Sundays are that day where care and rituals take on a deeper dimension.

Shall we join each other in a Sunday ritual?

One of our favorite Sunday rituals is to take care of our personal spaces, shake off the week that is ending and prepare a fresh and clean outlook for the days ahead. Open the windows and let the wind blow, scent with our favorite fragrance - the one that will help us remember these Sundays of presence -, clean the house and wash the sheets to end the day in a fresh bed.

Between the sheets of Domingo, a Mexican brand with which we share rest rituals, we have found great importance in consciously integrating into our home routines products that, in addition to their functionality and practicality, contribute to an atmosphere of care and value, not only for us, but also for the environment with refillable packaging, high-quality biodegradable or natural ingredients, and slow and small productions.

We must pause to consider that everything that allows us to carry out our rituals has a responsible and dignified origin, and will have a circular life that will not add to the vicious cycle of consumption and waste.

SundayIt is the day of laziness, of calm, of long hours, of disconnecting; the day of sleeping late or going to bed early; the day of breakfasts and movies in bed, of nice moments with family, as a couple or with ourselves; it is the sweet day, of doing nothing or doing everything, but in peace and in good sheets.

Taking care of our textiles at home

On Sunday, sheets become softer after each wash. To extend their life, we recommend:

Wash on cold cycle.

- Use a detergent with natural and mild emollients.
- Wash with similar colors, avoiding dark colors.
- Air dry to preserve fibers and color.
- If you use a dryer, try a short cycle at low temperature.

When you put on your sheets, spray a little textile perfume and they will be ready to welcome you into bed.
